A friend was telling me about an article in the Patriot Ledger this morning about a woman in Hull, MA who makes sea glass jewelry and donates all the proceeds to Autism Speaks. She gets no money from the proceeds. She wanted to do something meaningful and worthwhile with her forty-year collection of sea glass and is. her business is spread word of mouth and she wraps her pieces in silver and gold. She sells six pieces for $100. and just wanted to make a difference.

I love this story because it gives air time to another sea glass junkie, shows how good-willed people can be and that the press will cover such a story when so much of the media attention goes to the tragic and sensational.
